About Us
Nova was officially launched at the beginning of 2008. We are passionate about serving Churches and Mission Agencies that want to be more effective in their mission within Europe. We do this through an active research programme; gathering stories and numbers that paint a more accurate picture of mission realities in Europe. The value we add to the stories and numbers is to offer our careful analysis and evaluation of trends and patterns that appear to be strategic and important.
Our offices and archives are located at Redcliffe Mission Training College in Gloucester. Redcliffe has over one hundred years of preparing people for mission service in many parts of the world, including Europe.
Our current staff team includes our Director, the Revd Darrell Jackson, and a Research Intern, Rita Rimkiene. Darrell has more than five years’ research experience of European Mission, including three spent working from Budapest, Hungary, for the Conference of European Churches. Rita is a Lithuanian national with expert knowledge of the Baltic region plus experience of the Churches in Austria and Britain.
Our staff are evangelical Christians committed to the task of equipping the whole Church to share the whole Gospel with the whole of Europe. NOVA is committed to partnership with other agencies that share, or are in sympathy with, our vision. We believe that multiple partnerships with Churches and Mission Agencies are required to meet the diverse, complex and constantly changing challenges that Europe poses to the mission purposes of God.
Nova is committed to partnership and our supporting partners include Operation Mobilisation (Britain & Ireland), European Christian Mission, the Church Mission Society, Redcliffe College, and Panahpur Trust.
